Joseph Gullion is a transformational Senior Aerospace Executive with a proven record of scaling billion-dollar divisions, executing strategic turnarounds, and leading global operations across the aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors. Over his distinguished career, he has served as President, CEO, COO, and Corporate Vice President for premier organizations including Boeing, Triumph Aerospace, KAPCO Global, and AAR Corporation, consistently delivering operational excellence, revenue acceleration, and long-term enterprise value.

 

Joseph’s leadership consistently pairs visionary growth strategies with disciplined operational execution. As President of Boeing Airplane Services, he launched the division from inception to $3.25 billion in revenue within three years, making it Boeing’s most profitable business unit. At Triumph Aerospace, he expanded the sales pipeline from $4 billion to $15 billion in just 18 months, securing more than $1 billion in new contracts. At KAPCO Global, he drove post-acquisition revenue growth, rebranded the company globally, and positioned it for a $1.2B revenue run rate.

 

Known for his turnaround mastery, Joseph led the revitalization of National Equipment Services by raising $80M to restructure debt during bankruptcy, restoring solvency, and repositioning the company as the third-largest rental firm in the U.S. At Dalfort Aviation, he reversed $2.5M in monthly losses into positive cash flow within a year, showcasing his ability to drive rapid financial and operational recovery.

 

Joseph has a proven history of scaling operations at speed. As President of ServicePlus, he founded and grew a rapid-repair startup to $700M in annual sales within three years, directly contributing to a fourfold stock value increase for parent company JLG Industries. Across his leadership tenure, he has successfully scaled organizations from startup to global reach, maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction, operational agility, and cultural cohesion.

 

Beyond corporate leadership, Joseph co-founded Meals on Wheels Houston, helping build the organization into a $14M nonprofit supporting vulnerable seniors. His enduring commitment to community service, workforce development, and veteran mentorship reflects a leadership philosophy rooted in stewardship and lasting impact.

 

Certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt-trained operator, Joseph leverages operational excellence methodologies to drive efficiency, scalability, and financial discipline. His expertise spans full P&L ownership of multimillion- and billion-dollar businesses, post-merger integration, revenue expansion, crisis leadership, and customer engagement strategy across global aerospace, defense, and manufacturing sectors.

 

Joseph’s foundation in mentorship, resilience, and disciplined execution was forged during his distinguished service as a U.S. Naval Officer and F-14 Fighter Pilot, where he completed over 4,000 accident-free flight hours and more than 300 carrier landings. As a Flight Instructor and Landing Signals Officer, he trained aviators in high-risk, precision-based environments—instilling focus, accountability, and operational readiness under extreme pressure.

 

Joseph holds a Master of Science in Human Resources and Industrial Technologies from Golden Gate University and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Communications from the University of Rio Grande. His leadership development includes coursework at The Boeing Center for Business Practices and Naval Officer Training at the Naval Air Station Pensacola Florida enroute to receiving his Wings of Gold and becoming a Naval Aviator.
